The Wessex Muse
The Wessex Muse Magazine is committed to giving the work of local creative talent of any genre more exposure, thereby assisting them to flourish and so inject greater aesthetic value into the region. By working alongside local bodies and artists it furnishes people in the area with an alternative to the mainstream.

SELECT is a showcase of British artisan products, gifts, collectables, art and unique pieces. 100 creators and makers are carefully selected to exhibit their inspired, discerning products in selective high quality locations.
Hale Events work closely with designGAP, The Craftsman Magazine and The Wessex Muse Magazine to stage, what are selective, individualistic and highly targeted events, meeting the needs of exhibitors and visitors alike.

New for 2009: SELECT @ St Mellion 1st - 2nd March 2009
The organisers are pleased to announce the launch of SELECT @ St Mellion. This new event will meet the immense demand being experienced from designer makers and buyers requesting a SELECT show again in Devon/Cornwall. It will take place at St Mellion International Resort in Cornwall. This superb venue is easily accessible for South West retailers and has a wealth of free parking. It is set on the edge of the beautiful Tamar Valley just 30 minutes from Plymouth and Launceston. Between SELECT @ St. Mellion and SELECT @ Bath (26th – 27th April 2009), the organisers are able to provide trade buyers and designer makers with 2 highly targeted, strongly marketed events in the centre of these 2 catchment areas in the South West.

Because of the excellent coverage offered by the two SELECT shows in Bath and St. Mellion, the Cheltenham event will not take place in 2008.
